      Programme structure

      The Master in Physics of Data is structured so to provide the maximal flexibility for the students to pursue their own interests. It offers some mandatory courses necessary to provide a wide and solid common background to all the students:

      1st Year: Laboratory of Computational Physics; Management and Analysis of Physics Datasets; Machine Learning, Advanced statistics for physics analysis for a total of 36 CFU           

      2nd Year:  Information Theory and inference for a total of 6CFU    

      We offer also several optional courses divided in 6 suggested tracks: Fundamental Physics (Track 1), Astrophysics and Cosmology (Track 2), Physics of Matter (Track 3), Quantum (Track 4) Complex Systems and Interdsciplinary Physics (Track 5)Machine Learning and Industrial Application (Track 6)
