
Programme structure
The Master of Physics of Data is structured so to provide the maximal flexibility for the students to pursue their own interests. It offers some mandatory courses necessary to provide a wide and solid common background to all the students:
1st Year: Laboratory of Computational Physics; Management and Analysis of Physics Datasets; Theoretical Physics; Machine Learning;
Statistical Mechanics of Complex Systems; Advanced Statistics for Physics Analysis; Optional courses on advanced topics in modern Physics
2nd Year: Quantum Computing; optional courses on advanced topics in modern Physics and Engineering; Internship in a research centre on in a private company
We offer also several optional courses divided in 5 suggested tracks: Fundamental Physics (Track 1), Astrophysics and Cosmology (Track 2), Physics of Matter (Track 3), Physics of Complex Systems (Track 4) and Machine Learning and Industrial Application (Track 5).
