Friday 22 October at the Cafè Pedocchi there will an open workshop organized by the AI Society working group (https://www.aisociety-unipd.it/) on Smart Urban Data.
The event is the result of a joint European Structural Funds project between the Physics and Astronomy, the Public, International and Community Law, and Mathematics Departments. We have been producing and accumulating data for a long time. The pandemic has only made us realize how indispensable they are to deal with the complexity of today's world: protecting health and safety are just the tip of the iceberg of how useful data can be to promote our communities. Thanks to them, we can monitor, develop and correct mobility solutions; maximize the effectiveness of our services; predict the success of an initiative; and enhance the value of different urban areas.
